Kits are great value for money and brilliant learning tools.
We had an issue with a component and customer service was excellent and resolution very fast. Delivery for initial orders was very quick too.

The product range covers some products that are not easy to buy within the EU trade agreement - hence without the need to pay import fees.
Unfortunately the delivery to Denmark (the non-express) never arrived. The costumer service was great and the response time was sometimes less than 5 minutes! - but always responded in a timely manner!
They re-shipped the order once, but that did not arrive either, and I ended up with a refund, but because of the shipping company, not thepiehut.com.
I subtracted one star only due to the fact that they use a shipping company that seems untrustworthy - two out of two shipments lost.
